Bennu Coffee

This week's review is over one of my favorite shops to study at, Bennu Coffee! If you've been here at night lately, chances are you've seen me here with a huge cup of coffee drowning in homework 😅  . With plenty of seating and hours that accommodate the night owl studiers (such as myself), Bennu is the perfect place to hunker down and get to work, or grab a cup of coffee with some friends and chat at any hour of the day. Bennu provides organic and fair trade coffee beans in all the coffee they serve with the exception of the "iced Bennu". If you're hungry, Bennu offer's pizza from Hoboken Pie, sandwiches and salads from The Green cart and Fricano's, as well as breakfast tacos from Taco Mex and baked goods from Russell's bakery!

Bennu is situated off MLK, right past the highway and is across the street from the "You're My Butter Half" mural, so grab a photo while you're there! There is a relatively small parking lot in front of the shop, but there is residential street parking , just make sure to avoid parking in front of driveways or your car will get towed! 😬  Hours: 24/7 !! What I Ordered: An iced vanilla soy latte, and I'll usually order a gluten free cookie from the bakery as well 😋

Customers: Mainly UT students from what I can tell, I've also seen artists and a range of many types of people up there hanging out and working!

Music: Can sometimes be a little loud, and sometimes they'll play some interesting music, but I love what they play for the most part! Instead of a playlist, I'm pretty sure they play full albums at a time which is pretty cool.

Wifi/Outlets: Bennu is outlet HEAVEN! 😍 and pro-tip on the wifi, if the sign in screen isn't popping up, type in "deepcoolclear.com" and it'll pull up the wifi page!

Cool Extras: Bennu is extremely involved in the Austin community! Along with participating in a recycling and composting program with Ecology Action, Bennu has also supported many local charities and charitable causes, including an ongoing relationship with LifeWorks and the United Way. So cool to see them giving back to the community!!
