Quack's 43rd St. Bakery

Happy International Women's Day!!💪🏼 😊  My next review is of Quack's 43rd St Bakery! Situated next to Dulce Vita and across the street from Fresh Plus Grocery on 43rd and Duval, Quack's is only a quick hop away from the University campus. This shop is my one of my good friend's absolute FAVORITE shop (and one of mine too), so I am here quite often to study. Quack's serves amazing Austin-roasted coffee, a deli menu supplied by Fricano's Deli, an array of delicious home-baked goods and pastries, and the CUTEST iced sugar cookies you will ever see. They have new themed cookies all the time. The last time I was in they had dinosaur shaped cookies and this beautiful purple geode cookie that was so beautiful 😍  (I would have bought it, but I'm allergic to gluten 😞  ) The shop is relatively small on the inside with mainly two person tables, but you can usually push together two tables for more room. There is also plenty of space to sit on the patio and out in front of the shop as well! Free parking is readily available in front and in the parking lot behind the store.

Hours: Mon-Fri 6:30am-11pm; Sat 7am-11pm; Sun 7:30-11pm

Music: The music is usually played pretty soft but it's usually popular indie music

What I Ordered: A lemonade because it was so hot out the other day!🌞 Customers: Mainly college students!

Atmosphere: This coffee shop is great for studying, the wifi has been pretty reliable when I study there, and the noise level is relatively low!

Cool Extras: Supposedly they were the first coffee house in Austin! 😱 Quack's I formally known as Captain Quackenbushes Intergalactic Dessert Company and Espresso Cafe and was located on the "Drag" in front of the University! At first, they only served espresso drinks to get people used to espresso based drinks, but now offer drip coffee as well.
