Voodoo Donuts

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! 👻  ðŸŽƒ  Because of the holiday, I'm doing a slightly different review today: Voodoo Donuts! This Portland-based donut shop finally opened its doors in Austin a few weeks ago. Voodoo sits in between Bikini's Sports Bar & Grill and Friends Bar in the heart of 6th street. Because it is downtown Austin, parking is extremely limited. ***CASH ONLY*** But no worries! Because they do have an ATM inside!

Hours: ***24 HOURS 7 DAYS A WEEK*** one warning I will give though is to make sure if you go at a busy hour of the day to be prepared to wait a while. (I waited 2 1/2 hours today for my donuts 😭)

Music: Mostly soft rock and rock n' roll throwbacks.

What I Ordered: The voodoo dozen, a voodoo donut, and some of their stump town brewed coffee!

Customers: A range of pretty much anyone you can think of!

Baristas: Edgy, eclectic, and incredibly patient and sweet for the amount of customers that come through!

Atmosphere: Definitely a very poppin' place, with pretty loud music and even louder conversation. (I took my donuts to go😁)

Wifi/Power Outlets: ***NO WIFI*** I also didn't really see outlets, but I'm assuming you wouldn't be going to Voodoo to study anyways.

Cool Extras: This location gives out free used coffee grounds to customers for gardening! For more information, visit AustinGroundtoGround.com. Another cool extra from this location is they brew Stumptown drip coffee and sell Cuvee's Nitro Cold Brew!
